Each pile is bored using an auger and filled with a concrete mix to accommodate the ground conditions. This is to provide an effective retention solution for the final structure.

Technique
- Using a solid core rotary auger, drill down to the desired depth, excess spoil is removed upon extraction.
- To achieve greater depths it is necessary to install a temporary casing to secure the borehole.
- Install a reinforcement cage.
- Remove temporary casing for further use.
- Pump concrete into the hole.
Piled Retaining Walls
Contiguous bored pile walls are constructed by a series of bores either with a designed spacing / gap (Contiguous) or touching (Secant). Each pile is filled with a concrete mix to accommodate the ground conditions, to provide an effective retention solution for the final structure.
